OVERVIEW

Morgan Stanley was downsizing its office suite in the Huntington Center, a 37-story office building in downtown Columbus, OH. Going from ~20,000 square feet to 5,246, Lehman Daman revised the layout and updated the smaller footprint to make it function as an entire office.

CHALLENGES

Reworking an occupied office suite required moving employees currently in that portion and building a demising wall at the outset of the project to keep construction activities separated. L/D then demoed much of the existing space, keeping only a few of the original offices. L/D added a reception area, meeting rooms, and new office space. The original offices were refreshed.

Projects in a 37-story building have unique logistical challenges. Lehman Daman followed all building rules and regulations, including site logistics/delivery scheduling and safety and security protocols.

Additionally, this project was run by Morgan Stanley corporate out of their New York City office. L/D coordinated with the remote team as well as the local branch manager to complete the project.
