With Kingston Township experiencing significant residential growth, the demand for a dedicated communal space for hosting events and gatherings has increased. Partnering with Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI), the township engaged Lehman Daman to build a new outdoor pavilion next to township hall.
Seeking to enhance the library experience for residents, Grandview Heights Public Library (GHPL) aimed to create a dedicated space for community events. Lehman Daman was engaged to complete a series of site improvements, including an outdoor pavilion, a permanent exterior drive-thru, enhanced traffic flow and parking, and pedestrian accessibility and walkways.
Del-Co Water Company was looking to expand their Olentangy campus. Needing more space to house their growing team and provide a place for training, Del-Co contracted Lehman Daman to build The Wolf Water Center, a new two-story ground-up building. This new complex features offices for their engineering and distribution departments, five-pull-through equipment bays with integrated storage, and a 250-person training room.
For years, Noble Academy’s cafeteria had been used both as a place for students to eat lunch and a space to hold physical education classes. With the growing needs of the school and increased enrollment, Noble Academy hired Lehman Daman to build a ground-up gymnasium.
A confidential client needed to move their fleet maintenance activities out of one of their vehicle processing facilities into a dedicated building for vehicle service and repairs. After a positive experience with Lehman Daman on two ground-up inspection centers, the client engaged Lehman Daman to build a fleet maintenance facility in Greenfield, IN.
After the successful completion of the confidential client’s first ever ground-up inspection center, the client engaged Lehman Daman to build another vehicle inspection center in Trenton, OH to help service their growing customer base. The confidential client purchased this 117-acre site to construct their building along with 100 acres of paving to house their inventory of used vehicles.
Rudolph Foods needed more cold storage at their existing plant. Lehman Daman built a ground-up, cold-storage expansion while working around their operations.
Penn Entertainment, owner of the Hollywood-branded gaming properties needed a space to accommodate patrons who enjoy smoking while gaming. With Ohio law prohibiting smoking in all indoor areas, Penn Entertainment engaged Lehman Daman to build and expand multiple outdoor smoking and gaming patios, while integrating them seamlessly with the existing casino environment.
Hocking County was out of space in their industrial park. Consequently, businesses looking to expand or locate there were forced to look elsewhere. Make Build Ship, LLC, a local development firm, in partnership with the Hocking County Community Improvement Corporation, planned to build a speculative building in the Logan-Hocking Commerce Park to address this issue.
The Jefferson Avenue Center was gifted a historic property in Columbus’s Brewery District to use as office space for nonprofits. Originally built in 1888, it stood empty since 2010 and was in a severe state of disrepair. They needed to renovate and expand the space to meet modern office needs, while retaining its historical elements and appearance.
Lehman Daman enclosed and expanded the maintenance garage, shielding workers from the elements and adding 4 truck bays.
New Beginnings wanted to take advantage of a 20-acre plot of land they already owned with a facility that could serve their current growing congregation as well as be a launching off point for future expansion.
FST hit a ceiling with a key customer. Their client wanted to expand the relationship, but FST was physically out of cold storage space to adequately serve them. To respond, FST needed to carve out about 30,000 SF cooler inside of an existing 300,000 SF warehouse they were already leasing in what they called their first ever “box-in-a-box” project. FST hired Lehman Daman as their design/build contractor to solve the problem.
ACPA, a charter school for mid-Ohio high school students, was looking to expand their facility to add a middle school. Having secured a full enrollment for Fall 2019, ACPA contracted Lehman Daman to build a 19,000 square foot ground-up addition, which also required renovating portions of the existing building to tie in the new structure.
Associated Plastics, a custom plastics injection and molding company based in Ada, OH, engaged Lehman Daman to design and build a 47,500 SF pre-engineered metal building addition to their existing facility.
