Squire Patton Boggs

OVERVIEW

Squire Patton Boggs, a tenant in the Huntington Center, occupied three floors of the 37-story multi-tenant office building. Seeking to downsize their office to two floors, the building owners (Hines) contracted Lehman Daman to demo, revise the layout, and perform office upgrades.

CHALLENGES

Squire Patton Boggs’ employees continued to work in the office during construction. To ensure their safety, L/D worked closely with Squire Patton Boggs to develop a phasing plan and relocate employees to areas with minimal disruption.

Additionally, there were several logistical challenges with working in a 37-story building, including strict construction rules and regulations. L/D completed the project on time and without incident while following all protocols, such as evening dumpster drop-off/early morning pick-up, and scheduling disruptive work and trades during the night shift.

L/D has continued to work with Hines and other tenants in the building.
