Gaining real-world experience is one of the most important and rewarding parts of your college journey. At Lehman Daman, our Student Co-Op Program is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional application. Through hands-on involvement in real commercial construction projects, students gain valuable insight into the construction industry while working side-by-side with experienced professionals. The program provides an opportunity to develop practical skills, explore career paths, and contribute to impactful work—all while building relationships that can lead to future full-time opportunities.
WHICH DEPARTMENT IS RIGHT FOR ME?
PRECONSTRUCTION
Work closely with our Preconstruction Leader and Estimating team
Assist in providing digital takeoffs
Attend pre-bid meetings and jobsite walk-through meetings
Assist in the budget development process
Build relationships with industry partners
LARGE PROJECTS
Learn from Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project Engineers
Assist in material deliveries, project planning, and project closeout
Coordinate with subcontractors and external vendors
Attend project meetings and assist with document control
Travel between the main office and project sites
SERVICE DIVISION
Learn from Project Managers, Service Technicians, and Project Engineers
Attend site walk-throughs and assist with developing cost estimates
Assist in material deliveries, project planning, and project closeout
Coordinate with subcontractors and external vendors
Quick turnaround projects, some only lasting a few days or weeks
