OVERVIEW
Associated Plastics, a custom plastics injection and molding company based in Ada, OH, engaged Lehman Daman to design and build a 47,500 SF pre-engineered metal building addition to their existing facility.
CHALLENGES
This challenging job, finished during the winter of 2016, involved relocating a private roadway, extensive site utilities including a new electrical service and a clear span per-engineered frame.
Soil conditions required the use of geopiers for the foundations. The project also needed to be constructed through the winter, requiring extra measures such as temporary heating and soil stabilization to complete the project on time.
