Lifeline of Ohio
OVERVIEW
Lehman Daman has a longstanding relationship with Lifeline of Ohio, providing facility maintenance for their headquarters and completing a previous interior renovation and tissue bank expansion.
In response to shifting workplace dynamics following COVID-19, where employees primarily worked remotely, Lifeline of Ohio turned to Lehman Daman as their trusted partner to revitalize their office space. The project primarily focused on creating a more open, inviting, and functional space to encourage more employees to return to the office.
CHALLENGES
The project required a carefully planned, multi-phase approach to minimize disruptions to Lifeline of Ohio’s operations. Lehman Daman worked with the Lifeline of Ohio team to develop a comprehensive phasing plan, coordinate the relocation of employees, and ensure access to essential areas such as restrooms and common areas.
To maintain safety, Lehman Daman implemented clear signage throughout the building and installed safety barricades to separate active construction zones from occupied areas.
A key aspect of the project was the installation of a VAV unit to regulate the climate in the Kidney Pump Room. This required relocating all equipment used for handling harvested donor kidneys. Lehman Daman expedited the room preparation process, providing sufficient time to sterilize and reinstall the equipment.
