Project Challenges

Both the Student Residence and Puppy Palace were constructed at the same time as Pilot Dogs continued day-to-day operations and on-campus training. Weekly coordination meetings allowed the project team and Pilot Dogs to align on upcoming construction activities and identify any impact to trainers and their students. Maintaining a safe environment was paramount, with clear awareness of training routes and advance communication when areas required temporary closure, allowing alternate accessplans to be put in place without disrupting instruction.

This campus expansion enables Pilot Dogs to grow its impact and continue delivering life-changing mobility andconfidence to those it serves.
