Project Challenges
Working in an operational plant required detailed coordination and communication between Lehman Daman and Rudolph Foods. Adherence to schedules and off-hours work kept disruptions to a minimum.
The most difficult component of expanding their cold storage without impeding operations was ensuring continuous electrical service. Lehman Daman had to demo a freezer for the expansion, which housed the entire plant’s electric service. Lehman Daman first built a small electric room to run the entire plant before demoing and starting the expansion. Careful sequencing and execution of this component made the project a success.
