Slalom

Project Overview
Slalom, a Seattle-based IT consulting firm, was looking to relocate from its current coworking space in Columbus to a permanent location. Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI) secured Slalom as a tenant in one of their Arena District buildings, in an office requiring demolition of the existing tenant space and complete buildout.

Project Challenges
Lehman Daman was contracted by NRI to buildout Slalom’s first office space in Ohio. The project was on the third floor of an occupied four-story building, requiring strict adherence to safety, site logistics, and building rules and regulations. L/D coordinated construction activities to minimize disruption to the rest of the building. This included scheduling early morning material deliveries and after-hours work for noisy activities. Additionally, with the building being adjacent to Nationwide Arena, L/D worked with NRI to coordinate the project schedule around the venue’s event schedule.
Lehman Daman completed the project on time and on budget, allowing Slalom to serve growing demand in Ohio and expand their operations.
