Taft Law Columbus

Project Overview
With their current lease ending, Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP was looking for a bigger, client-ready office. Hines secured Taft as a tenant in the Huntington Center, a 37-story multi-tenant office building in downtown Columbus. Lehman Daman was hired to build out the 18th, 19th, and 22nd floors that Taft would occupy.

Project Challenges
Furniture selection and placement plays a major role in determining power and utility needs for a given space. Taft had a firm move-in date, but their decision to change furniture vendors during construction threatened the timeline of the project. Lehman Daman worked collaboratively with Hines, Taft, architect, engineer, and IT/Data vendors to figure out where power and data needed to be located in relation to the new furnishings.
Lehman Daman’s adaptability and communication got Taft their Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) two days ahead of schedule. Lehman Daman continues to work with Hines and other tenants in the Huntington Center to buildout their spaces.
