This month, we’re excited to celebrate a major milestone, Bill Nixon’s 10-year anniversary at Lehman Daman. Over the past decade, Bill’s journey has closely mirrored the growth of our organization as he’s consistently stepped into new challenges, raised the bar for quality, and delivered results for our clients and teams.
Bill joined Lehman Daman in March 2016 as our very first Service Technician, helping launch what was then a newly created Service Division. From day one, it was clear that hiring Bill was a gamechanger. He quickly took ownership of the role, producing high-quality work while setting the standard for how Lehman Daman approaches service projects. As the Service Division grew, Bill became instrumental in mentoring new technicians, teaching not only the technical aspects of the job, but also the importance of clear communication and an exceptional customer experience.
After three years of excelling in service, Bill stepped into a new role in 2019, transitioning to Superintendent with our Large Projects group. Since then, his impact has been felt across an impressive range of projects and clients, including Glengary, OhioHealth, Lazear Capital, Mount Carmel, Progressive Insurance, DaVita, Fresenius Medical Care, Planet Fitness, Taft, Jet Container, Noble Academy, the Columbus Drug Enforcement Administration, Chas Phipps, Lifeline of Ohio, Altor Solutions, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and Penn Entertainment—just to name a few.
Bill has successfully delivered projects constructed just inches from active power lines without incident and completed a 120,000 SF industrial facility on time and under budget, earning glowing feedback from the client. Most recently, he wrapped up one of our largest projects to date at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, a job so successful it has led to ongoing opportunities and repeat work.
Beyond the results, Bill is someone people genuinely enjoy working with. He brings honesty to every conversation and isn’t afraid to challenge us to be a better company. He does the research before jumping into new opportunities, ensuring we’re well-positioned to deliver on the promises we make to our clients. That thoughtful, intentional approach continues to strengthen our relationships and reinforce our reputation.
