Barstool Sportsbook at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway
Project Overview
Seeking to attract new guests by offering a physical space for sports betting, Penn Entertainment engaged Lehman Daman for the construction of the new Barstool Sportsbook, located inside Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway.
This project required the buildout of a fully functional kitchen and features a restaurant/bar area, a dining area, and a 34-foot video wall. Lehman Daman completed this project just in time for a planned grand opening event for March Madness.

Project Challenges
Lehman Daman needed to carefully coordinate and plan construction activities around patrons and staff. Temporary barriers were set up around the jobsite to keep the area separated from the casino floor. Additionally, the project required downsizing the main vestibule, which is a key entry point into the casino. Lehman Daman assembled shoring to support the structural walls in the vestibule and ensure the safety of patrons utilizing this entrance.
Outside of the facility, an excavator was used to install a 10-foot deep sanitary holding tank. Lehman Daman created clear construction barricades to enclose this area from the public and worked with Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway to reroute walkways.
