Project Overview

In a collaboration with sports media company Barstool, Penn Entertainment, a leader in the gaming and racing industry, engaged Lehman Daman for the construction of the new Barstool Sportsbook located inside the Hollywood Casino at The Meadows. The newly renovated space features two bar areas, self-serve betting kiosks and ticket windows, an astro-turfed football field, and video wall.

Project Challenges

With casinos operating 24/7 and construction occurring around patrons, Lehman Daman ensured their safety by setting up a temporary barrier around the jobsite to keep construction activities separated. Lehman Daman also worked closely with Hollywood Casino at The Meadows to coordinate deliveries and minimize disruption.

Additionally, Penn Entertainment faced long material lead times, specifically for bar equipment. Lehman Daman worked closely with Penn Entertainment, subcontractors, and suppliers, to understand lead times and recommend substitutions when necessary.
