Buckeye Ranch

Project Overview
Buckeye Ranch, a mental health counseling and treatment facility, engaged Lehman Daman for upgrades to its Grove City campus. Lehman Daman completed 15,000 SF of interior renovations to four dormitories, an office building, and an animal therapy center. Additionally, Lehman Daman built a new 3,165 SF outdoor pavilion. Originally planned as separate, sequential projects, Lehman Daman provided Buckeye Ranch with significant cost savings by performing all work at once.

Project Challenges
As a children’s mental health campus that remained open during construction, safety was paramount. Each worksite throughout the campus was secured, including temporary fencing surrounding the new outdoor pavilion. For the dormitories, Lehman Daman worked closely with Buckeye Ranch to relocate children for the period of construction. All Lehman Daman employees and subcontractors kept cars locked and cleaned up jobsites every day to keep children away from tools and materials.
Lehman Daman completed the project on time, on budget, and without any safety incidents. Since completion, the Lehman Daman Service Division has continued to serve Buckeye Ranch, providing facility maintenance on an as-needed basis.
