Project Challenges

While Lehman Daman focused on the interior build-out, the shell construction led by the landlord’s contractor was still in progress. Lehman Daman adopted a proactive approach, maintaining ongoing communication with the shell contractor to prevent bottlenecks. This approach extended to coordinating critical construction activities, such as aligning drywall installation with the shell contractor’s window installation.

Additionally, the project involved the construction of a radiology suite which required specialized considerations due to the unique nature of radiology procedures. Lehman Daman worked closely with a medical physicist to assess lead shielding requirements to prevent the transmission of radiation outside designated areas.

Lehman Daman delivered this project on time and on budget, enabling Optum to provide an improved patient experience.
