Nationwide Children's Clintonville Close to Home

When a neighboring suite became available, Nationwide Children’s chose to expand their footprint into that space. Lehman Daman needed to integrate the new square footage into Nationwide Children’s existing suite - all while keeping their facility fully operational. Guided by an Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA), Lehman Daman installed a durable modular wall system that meets the project’s ICRA Class IV requirements and keeps dust and other contaminants contained to our site.

Prioritizing the safety of all patients was crucial. To prevent elopement and wandering incidents, Lehman Daman worked with Nationwide Children’s staff to assess treatment schedules and identify high-risk periods. This proactive approach enabled us to allocate dedicated personnel to monitor entrances during those times, ensuring no child runs into our site.

Additionally, noise levels needed to be controlled throughout construction. With the project occurring around sound sensitive children, Lehman Daman strategically scheduled louder activities during off-hours and weekends to mitigate noise disturbances.

Lehman Daman delivered this project on time and on budget, enabling Nationwide Children’s to serve more families.
