Project Overview
The Havener Eye Institute, which is affiliated with the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, hired Lehman Daman to complete a concurrent interior renovation and clinic expansion at their Westerville location. The project involved creating new reception areas, exam rooms, treatment rooms, and a breakroom for staff.

Project Challenges
The Havener Eye Institute needed to stay operational during construction. To address this, Lehman Daman developed a phasing plan designed to keep patients and staff safe during construction. Lehman Daman followed infection control risk assessment (ICRA) guidelines and installed dust control barriers and negative air pressure zones to further protect patients from construction activities.
Additionally, with the project occurring on the second floor of a multi-tenant medical office building, Lehman Daman coordinated construction activities to minimize disruption to the rest of the building. This included scheduling after hours for noisy activities and MEP shutdowns/tie-ins.
