Project Challenges
Since Path was leasing the building for only three years, they needed to avoid over-investing in the space. Lehman Daman facilitated communication with Path and the architects to help guide design decisions, including recommending modular components that could be taken to a new location in the future.
Additionally, Path faced long material lead times, specifically for the electrical work and a new crane. Lehman Daman created a strategy to allow trades, permitting, and material orders to be released based on conceptual budgets, which increased the speed of the project. Lehman Daman's phasing schedule also allowed Path employees to begin occupying certain portions of the building during construction.
